Raechel is also passionate about providing clinical supervision to new psychologists either in training (5+1 or 4+2 pathways) or early career.

Psychological assessments provide valuable insights into an individual's cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning.
Supervision
Supervision can be provided for to Psychologists seeking guidance, support, and exploring ethical practice. Supervision may also include support for 4+2 and 5+1 pathways.

Supervision
We offer professional clinical supervision to help both new and practicing clinicians enhance their skills. Our aim is to create a nurturing and supportive environment, focusing on ethical practice, professional growth, and better client care.
Our Board Approved Supervisor has a wide range of experience in school psychology, workers' compensation, pain management, and ethical practice, and is passionate about supporting new and early career psychologists.
As AHPRA-approved supervisors, we can serve as primary or secondary supervisors for 4+2 or 5+1 internships.

Raechel:Director and Psychologist
Raechel founded Grow. Psychology to pursue her passion for helping individuals of all ages overcome challenges and thrive. She is equally dedicated to nurturing the next generation of psychologists, providing supervision and mentoring to early-career psychologists or those completing their 5+1 pathways. Raechel is passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative space where psychologists can build their confidence, deepen their clinical skills, and grow into compassionate, thoughtful practitioners. She believes in fostering reflective practice, professional resilience, and a strong ethical foundation in those she supervises.
With over a decade of clinical experience spanning workers' compensation, occupational rehabilitation, school psychology, and private practice, Raechel brings a warm, creative, and professional approach to her work. She is a neurodiversity-affirming clinician who works alongside her clients to build emotional, social, and behavioural skills that empower them to reach their goals in a way that honours their unique strengths and identities.
Raechel has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent clients and her work is strongly guided by neurodiversity-affirming principles. She is passionate about helping children and teenagers navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, school-based stress, and emotional regulation challenges.
Raechel is also deeply committed to psychological assessment, a core service offered at Grow. She believes that high-quality, compassionate assessment can provide individuals and families with the clarity, understanding, and direction they need to make informed decisions. Raechel conducts comprehensive assessments for a range of concerns including cognitive, learning, ADHD, autism, and emotional functioning. Her assessments are collaborative, strengths-based, and always tailored to reflect each client’s values, needs, and lived experience. She strives to ensure that every assessment leads to practical, meaningful recommendations that support positive change in the client’s everyday life.
Outside of work, Raechel enjoys reading a good book, bike riding, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves relaxing with her two dogs, Franklin and Rupert.

Unfortunately, bulk billing is not available at this time.
If you require a fee reduction, please reach out and we can discuss your needs and if a reduction can be accomodated.
No, you do not need a referral to see our psychologists.
However, if you would like to claim the Medicare rebate, you will need a referral from your GP and an active Mental Health Care Plan.
Wait times for assessments can vary depending on demand. Due to medical leave, assessments are currently being booked from late August 2025 onwards.
Cognitive Assessment
This includes a session pre-assessment where time is spent gaining a developmental history and understanding current concerns. Following this the assessment takes place with the client, this can take anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes.
Learning Disorder and ADHD Assessment
This includes an initial interview with parents and/or individual to gain a comprehensive history, current concerns and impact on functioning. Following this (either the same or different day) the assessment takes place. This includes a cognitive and academic assessment. These can take up to 3 hours in total depending on the client.
ADHD
For children, this requires a cognitive assessment (sometimes also an academic assessment) as well as several questionnaires specific to ADHD and executive functioning for teachers and parents.
Autism Assessment
Similar to the assessments above, this includes an initial interview with parents and/or individual to gain a comprehensive developmental history, current concerns and presentation. Followed by a testing session with the client, this can take up to 2 hours.
All assessments include a comprehensive report detailing background, assessment results, conclusions/diagnoses (if applicable) and recommendations. A feedback session is also provided to discuss the report, any diagnoses and provide space for you to ask any questions.
Unfortunately, no we are not.
However, if you are under a self-managed plan that has funding for Psychology services, you are welcome to access our support.
We do require full payment at the time of the appointment and do not invoice third party providers.
The Mental Health Care Plan enables clients to claim Medicare rebates for psychological sessions, allowing for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. To access these rebates, you'll need a referral from your GP specifying the number of sessions. Your Psychologist can request further sessions if required (up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year).
Referrals remain valid for 12 months. Any sessions beyond this limit within the same year will be charged privately.
As of July 2024, Medicare rebates are as follows:
Registered Psychologist: $96.65
If you do not have a Mental Health Care Plan but have private health insurance you may be able to claim a portion of the fee back through your insurer. To understand if your policy covers Psychology services, please contact your insurer.
Unfortunately not. Some private health insurance may provide some funding and we advise you check with your insurer before hand.
For Autism assessments, if the referral for the assessment is made by a Paediatrician or a Psychiatrist, and the person being assessed is under the age of 25, they may be eligible to claim a rebate.
